Wreath-Making at Our Gloucester Office

On Thursday November 28, we were delighted to host our annual wreath-making activity at our Gloucester office, bringing together foster carers from across our South region. The workshop provided a special opportunity for our carers to take a moment for themselves, enjoy a creative outlet, and connect with one another in a welcoming setting.

The wreath-making session, was led by Nikki and Audrey, who brought their passion and experience to the workshop. The feedback from Nikki captures the essence of this rewarding experience:

"Being invited back for a second year running to host a wreath-making workshop for the foster carers was a privilege. Giving the foster carers the opportunity to come to a familiar environment to do something for themselves, when they do so much for the children they care for, was so rewarding."

"Wreath-making can be a bit daunting when you see everything laid out and if it's their first time. But they soon got the hang of things, after the reassurance that you can’t go wrong.

The event created a great space for foster carers and staff to unwind and share their experiences. As Nikki shared, it was heart-warming to see carers relax, laugh, and talk about their interests and life outside of foster care - something that is often hard to find time for.
