Rachel - Support Worker, Lancashire

I'm passionate about having a positive impact on people's lives and in 2018 was shortlisted for a community award to recognise my voluntary work.

Hi, I’m Rachel. I previously worked for the Local Authority with children, young people and their families, which I did for over 20 years. I have held a variety of different roles across Education, Early Intervention and Social Care.

I relocated to Lancaster with my family in June 2022, after being born and bred in Wigan. 

I love photography, bargain hunting and upcycling unloved furniture to give it a new lease of life. Our new home needs some renovation, so when I'm not working on that, I love spending time with family and friends as we explore the local area.
