Kerri - Practice Manager (South), Gloucestershire (She/Her)

I was born in London but brought up and lived in North Yorkshire until I moved to Gloucestershire in 2001. I have over 20 years’ experience working with children and families in homeless teams, neighbourhood community projects, domestic abuse refuges, counselling agencies and Local Authorities.

I qualified with BSc Hons in Social Work at the University of Gloucestershire in 2011. I am also a qualified integrated counsellor and have a post qualifying diploma in counselling children and young people.

I have worked for the past 16 years with two Local Authorities, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire County Council, initially as a social work assistant and then as social worker working with children and young people on child protection plans, child in need plans and in care proceedings. I have worked in Family support team, Children and Families teams and a multi-agency team in the Gloucestershire Family Drug and Alcohol Court.

I joined CFC in January 2020, I really liked the passion, commitment and integrity of the agency with focus on child and young people being at the heart of the agency and the family feel.
