Jane - Trustee

I have recently retired from my role within National Savings and Investments.

Now retired I wanted to help the community and CFC and the work they do inspired me to contact them to discuss the role of a trustee.

I live in Knott End on Sea in Lancashire with my husband and son. I also have a daughter, son in law and a two year old granddaughter who keeps us all busy.

Now retired I wanted to help the community and CFC and the work they do inspired me to contact them to discuss the role of a trustee. I was really impressed with the commitment and care CFC provide for the children and support for the Foster Carers.

With my experience in Incident Management and Process Improvement, I felt I could adapt the skills I have developed over the years and use my time effectively to support the staff, children and parents within the foster care network.

Having met with some of the team from the Lancaster office, I am delighted to be appointed a trustee and I will ensure I work hard to support them in any way I can.
