George - Family Finding & Compliance Officer Gloucestershire (He/Him)

Hello, my name is George and I am the Family Finding & Compliance Officer.

I originally joined CFC in May 2023 covering the BSTL role before moving into my new role in February 2024.

(Put simply) My role is to work with Carers and Social Workers to seek families for Children as well as monitoring compliance for CFC, including Fostering Regulations, GDPR, Health & Safety and the delivery against our agreements with commissioning.

I really enjoy being part of the bigger picture to ensure we have positive outcomes for our young people, and as many of the team know, spreadsheets are a big part of this (which I enjoy).

I have previously worked on a national project with a focus on young people development where my role had a focus on relationships with commissioners and compliance, so I am excited to be in a similar role within a smaller team and in an organisation with similar values to mine.

Outside of work, I volunteer for a youth organisation (which takes up a lot of my time), spending time with my puppy, family and friends, usually with food involved.
