Foster Carer’s Awards 2022

Last month we held our first in-person Foster Carer Awards in the south since the panny D (Covid 19 pandemic in science lingo). It was so wonderful getting back together as a community and celebrating both Christmas and some of the incredible achievements of our brilliant foster carers.

We had a number of long service awards including a massive 24 years for Wendy and Steve (pictured) and Rose. We also had new carers to welcome ‘officially’ and everything in between!

We would like to say a big thank you to all of our south foster carer’s who came along. We had a fab turnout and we know how beneficial being together is for morale and support across our community. The last three years have been really challenging for all of us, it is truly testament to our foster carers’ dedication and resilience that we could hand out so many varying long service awards.
