We are very excited to announce our new arrival, Samantha Williams, to the team! Sam did her university placement with us and we’re happy to have her back on board as a Supervising Social Worker based in the North.

From Samantha:

I’ve been working in Stockport Council as a locality social worker since May 2020. It has been an amazing role and I have had the best time, being in my first role as a social worker and working with an amazing team!

I worked at Community Foster Care for my second university placement, in the Lancaster office and I had the best time. The staff are wonderful and so supportive, and it’s amazing to work with such dedicated foster carers. And that’s why I’m so excited to be coming back!

It’s a great work environment filled with motivated and inspiring people, and I can’t wait to work with everyone.

My interests are walking (country side walks - even better if there’s lots of dogs around!), trying new cuisines and cooking different foods, I love exploring new places and travelling, and I’m very into films and video games!
